Abstract

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a digital system that replaces manual, paper-based medical records. The implementation of EMR at Jombang Regional General Hospital (RSUD Jombang) has been running quite well in recent years. However, currently there is no SOP for Electronic Medical Record Management in the inpatient department. This community service activity aims to improve the efficiency of inpatient medical record management in the electronic medical record era at RSUD Jombang through socialization and mentoring in the implementation of the SOP. The implementation method includes socialization to inpatient medical record staff, direct mentoring for five days and evaluation of the results of the implementation of the EMR SOP. This activity involved inpatient medical record staff. The evaluation results showed a 99% level of compliance with the implementation of the SOP for Inpatient Medical Record Management in the Electronic Medical Record Era, indicating that the new SOP is easy to understand and implement. Socialization and mentoring have proven effective in improving the understanding and needs of inpatient medical record staff, making it worthy of being used as a permanent reference in inpatient medical record management at RSUD Jombang.
