Abstract

The number of stunting in Indonesia reached 21.6%, while in Mojokerto Regency itself the stunting rate reached 11.6%. Stunting can reduce the quality of a country's human resources (Ministry of Health, 2022). Stunting can be prevented starting from providing good food from birth to 5 years of age, which is one of the basic efforts to ensure the achievement of quality growth and development while fulfilling rights, while the level of knowledge of parents about the importance of nutritional intake for children is still lacking. Data obtained in the Trowulan Community Health Center area in Trowulan village was that of 684 toddlers, there were 10 toddlers with malnutrition and 5 toddlers with stunting. Therefore, we carry out home visits and education for mothers of toddlers to provide knowledge and direction about parenting patterns to mothers of toddlers so that the nutritional status of toddlers becomes better.

The main targets or specific targets of this activity are the area clowns and toddlers in Trowulan Village, Trowulan District, Mojokerto Regency. The method used in this activity is conducting home visits and education to mothers of toddlers with malnutrition, poor status or stunting. Direct education and questions and answers to mothers of toddlers. The event began with an opening by the Village Midwife of the Trowulan area and an explanation of the activities that had been carried out last week with the KELANTING (Stunting Toddler Visits and Education) innovation in Trowulan village
